What is an Enrolled Agent?+

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax practitioner authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states. EAs have the same representation rights as CPAs and attorneys for IRS matters.

How much does tax resolution cost?+

Fees depend on the complexity of your case — the number of unfiled returns, the amount owed, and the resolution path (OIC, installment, CNC, penalty abatement). We quote a flat fee after a free consultation so there are no surprises.

Will I have to meet with the IRS?+

No. As Enrolled Agents we are authorized to represent you directly. Our clients never meet with the IRS — we handle every call, letter, and negotiation on your behalf.

Can the IRS really settle for less than I owe?+

Yes, through the Offer in Compromise program — but only if you qualify. The IRS evaluates your income, expenses, and assets. We analyze your finances first and only pursue an OIC when it is the strongest available option.

How fast can you stop a wage garnishment or bank levy?+

Often within days. Once we file Form 2848 (Power of Attorney) we can contact the IRS immediately to negotiate a release or hold while we build the long-term resolution.

I have not filed in years. Will I go to jail?+

Almost certainly not. The IRS prefers compliance over prosecution. We help thousands of taxpayers come back into compliance every year by reconstructing records and filing accurate returns that minimize liability.

Do you serve clients outside Illinois and Nevada?+

Yes. Our Enrolled Agents are federally licensed and represent clients in all 50 states. Most cases are handled remotely by phone, secure email, and video.

How long does tax resolution take?+

Simple cases (single installment agreement or penalty abatement) can resolve in 30–90 days. Offers in Compromise typically take 6–12 months due to IRS review timelines. We give you a realistic timeline after the initial investigation.

Don't wait. Penalties compound daily.
